Well, I have not had a lot to comment on lately. I have been pretty busy writing about my experience with my new Palm Treo 650 and a borrowed Palm LifeDrive. However, it appears another ROM update has been released for the X50 and X50v, and it includes some major enhancements. As with all updates, I am really debating whether or not to reinstall all the applications after I load the new ROM or just restore from a backup. Either way, here is the list of updates: Enhance LEAP-WAP wireless encryption. Increase the data transfer rate of SDIO to 19.5MHz on PXA27X C5. Add a new network certification -- GoDaddy SSL certificate root into the ROM image. Phase in new updated Bluetooth stack BTW-CE 1.5.0.2601. Added wireless compatibility for Cisco Wireless Multimedia (WMM) Bug fix for Home applet screen on the X50. Bug fix for WMV G2700 display codec. However, it picks back up to the official release.
